You win the prize, that actually works.

  - web/walk-dragaera/.svn           (ignored, matches /\.svn$/)

It also proves that my thought that it doesn't match against the path
is wrong -- because I'd tried the same thing except anchored at the
start as well, and that *didn't* work.
